We took lots of pictures this weekend. Victoria is almost done with the Tangled Yoke from the Fall Interweave Knits. Here's the picture from the magazine:
And here's where she's at now. This is Rowan Felted Tweed in such a great color! She's just about to start the actual cable in the yoke.
And here is a mitten/hand warmer montage in honor of the possibility they won't be worn again until November! A moment of silence please for these hours of hard work...
We had a clapotis knitter in this weekend. Here she is showing her progress:
This is only her second project ever! It's Mountain Colors merino.
Here is the finished Mitered Drape Jacket designed by Jane Slicer Smith
The best part about this is the swinging part in the back. I attempted with a picture, but you have to see it in person for the "Ooh Ahhh" factor. I LOVE this designer.
And finally, Margaret's Hypotenuse Stole made out of Elsbeth Lavold's silky wool.

Stay tuned!

We've got some fun stuff to show you from this weekend...Victoria brought in her Counterpane Pullover (from the best Interweave ever, Fall 2007, still available at the shop!) This is the picture from the mag:
And here is the almost finished work of art that Victoria has done:
and up close on the diamond pattern:
This took just over 4 skeins of Peruvia for the smallest size and she whipped it up in just over two weeks. I hear that she finished it yesterday so we'll get a picture of the recipient wearing it:) Woo hoo!
Here is my (Elizabeth) Jane Slicer Smith "Mitered Jacket with Sleeves" but obviously the sleeves aren't on yet and I have about two hundred ends to sew in.
We love this designer and still have several of her kits in the shop, along with a binder of her patterns that are just gorgeous. Here is one of the patterns we have:
We have lots of Merino Sei that this could be done with in great colors.
And two more pictures of Sunday knitters...one with a great Debbie Bliss sweater on and a new Needle Lady Knitter starting a sweater in Mimi's alpaca...
If you have any questions, email the shop at info@needlelady.com . Keep checking the blog! We're having fun keeping everyone in the loop.

Happy Valentine's Day!
We know you've all been waiting for a place to get Needle Lady updates. Well here it is! We're going to update this blog as much as we can with our customers' finished projects, new yarn/books/patterns that arrive at the shop, and lots of other goodies. Make sure to check out our Spring Classes here...http://www.needlelady.com/classes.aspx
Here is a picture of the Koigu...We all dream of knitting with this stuff. Victoria has a great pair of socks out of them and Kathleen made a Clapotis http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall04/PATTclapotis.html out of it. Speaking of Clapotis (I suppose the plural would be Clapotis also!)
Here is Elizabeth's brand new Mountain Colors Clapotis.
I think she is going to make one out of every Mountain Colors colorway...this one will definitely be the next...
Have you made a clapotis yet? Send us pictures if you have...we love this pattern and if you have the urge to make one, stop in and see us! Mimi made hers out of Lorna's Laces...Check out the new colors we have!
Stop in and see us soon. This is perfect weather for knitting and we have lots of new stuff for you to see. We'll be updating this blog on Sundays, so make sure to stay tuned!
